Every term at Busy Bee, we hold parent-teacher conferences (PTC) to let parents know how their child is doing at Busy Bee and how well they are adjusting to our program. We enjoy open lines of communication, as we believe this also helps with each child’s development at home.
Before our PTC, our teachers will do evaluations to track the progress made by each student. We cover the different areas of development: physical, language, cognitive and social-emotional. These evaluations track milestones for different age groups and from them, we can see how well children are developing. For example, a physical milestone could be if the child can catch a ball or hold a utensil; a language milestone could be if they can respond in words to a teacher; a cognitive milestone could be if they can identify colours; and a social-emotional milestone could be if they can play in a group game.
These conferences are great as we can discuss with each parent how things are going and give them an idea of how well their child is adjusting. We love seeing each and every student’s progress and understand that all children grow and develop at different paces. These PTCs are also a great way for us to discuss any issues or concerns parents may have.
As always, we enjoy hearing your feedback, so let us know if there’s anything we can do to make the experience at Busy Bee even better for your child! We are here for you and for the children!
A huge THANK YOU to all the parents and guardians who came out for our PTC this week! We greatly value your opinions and feedback and thank you for your continued trust and support in our program. We believe we are making a difference here and appreciate your patronage!
Come and see the buzz! Only at Busy Bee!
Have a BEE-utiful day!
